Katerina wasn’t fazed when her partner mentioned there would be no bathroom facilities where they’d be camping for the long weekend.
The Victorian woman knew that due to coronavirus, it was probably a smart idea to head somewhere a bit off the beaten track, Kidspot reports.
But that didn’t mean she was ready to completely rough it.
Katerina drew the line when her partner started talking about having to dig a hole in the bush to go to the bathroom.
“That was a hard ‘no’ from me,” Katerina told Kidspot.

Katerina and her partner have been camping together since they first started dating.
At first, Katerina says she wasn’t keen to sleep in a tent.
But her partner quickly came up with a solution to that – arriving home with a 4x4 campervan, with all the bells and whistles.
“We like to discover somewhere new each time and have a great time together!” she happily admits.
“We have prepared all the basics like food, clothes and toiletries. The campervan is always stocked and ready to go!
“It’s just like a little portable home with a kitchen … but no toilet.”
Normally, the lack of toilet in the van isn’t a problem – but this weekend will be the first time the couple head to a location which doesn’t have bathroom facilities nearby.
Lucky, Katerina is no stranger to DIY and decided to make a toilet of her own.

She remembered seeing a toilet made from a bucket and a pool noodle online years ago – and decided to make her own.
Katerina headed to her local Kmart where she picked up a 20L fishing bucket for $10 and a blue pool noodle for just $2. All it needs is a biodegradable bag inside and its ready to go.
“It took me no more than 20 minutes to put it all together,” she says.
“It stays clean and its comfortable to sit on. I’m seriously pleased with the result.”
Katerina was so happy with her creation that she decided to post it on a Facebook group online.
“Enjoy my Kmart hacked toilet – ergonomically designed to fit the contours of a female’s bottom,” she wrote on the group.
And it seemed that everyone in the group did enjoy the hack – with Katerina’s post quickly racking up 1800 reactions and more than 300 comments.

“What a god damn genius idea,” one commenter wrote.
“This is brilliant! You should totally cut the bottom out though. That way you just sit it over the hole your hubby digs for you and it becomes just like a long drop – well a short drop!” another added.
“Make sure you bring a bag. The kids tell me it’s not fun to clean when they forgot,” another said.
“Wow! Great idea. This is truly a genius hack. You’re very brave,” another added.
Katerina says that the post was the first time she had shared anything in a Facebook group – and she never expected it would go this massive.
“I realised it had gone viral when I woke up this morning,” she says.
“It blew up very quickly from there.
“I was flattered and glad some people loved the idea!
“I did read some negative comments, but you can’t make everyone happy …”
